Faux Fur Sake

So what do you think about Real fur?
Im in love with fur and when I see a fur coat on the catwalk they always look absolutely stunning, luxurious and full of warmth!
However, I just can't do real fur....I do not think it is right in this day and age to endanger any animals for their skin? I would not be a paint thrower or anything but even if a Brand new fur coat was given to me I would decline with...... a sad face :(
However, am I contradicting myself if I say I wear Vintage fur???????
My mum had a fur coat from the 1960's and gave it to me, yes I do still have it and yes I have worn it a couple of times........but I'm not sure if I should?
In a way I feel like I'm recycling it.....and if I didn't wear it somebody else would, or it would be burnt and then its a waste, surely??
So where do we stand with vintage fur?? Is it allowed??
I think there is some great faux fur out there nowadays and I would love people to go for faux rather than real... is this something that will ever happen????

Below are some images of Designer NEW Real fur and some street styles fur........

My Style

Ok, so I best explain a little about my style as my blog won't appeal to all out there....if your a fan of Yohji Yamamoto or Comme Des Garcons then I cant see how I can inspire you Im afraid...
However, if you love the feminine styles of Prada, Dior or Valentino, then I should be able to help! I also love some quirkier styles too as you will see in my blogs....
I usually prefer anything super feminine and I love fashion styles from the 1920's right through to the 1970's, im not so keen on the 1980's or 1990's ......by the way, 1990's is a big fashion trend for SS13..gulp!!
I must admit some days I wake and totally dress for my mood or occasion which sometimes would not mean uber feminine...eg a long car journey, and I love my tracksuits in the house, mmmmm
I usually wear sparkles, mix textures and layer up! I love the whole feminine mix with tough, eg chiffon dress with leather jacket.
Ill add blogs for each look and daily thought as we go along.
Today there are a few looks im overly obsessed with and here are some below......

DSquared AW12 collection, based on 1960's Grad School, so simple yet elegant, great for this time of year!

DSquared AW12 look at the layering, and mix of textures, perfect for this time of year!
I found this on pinterest but love the combination of fur,  sparkles and studs! Stunning Street wear style!

Street style looking fab with layers and tartan! Huge trend!

The fabulous Olivia Palermo wearing the colour of the season orange and pairing with shades of blue, super stylish!

MISS RSVP...What does it mean?

Myself in Greece, wearing a Rebecca Simone Maxi dress with Givenchy Sunglasses and New Look necklace

So how did I come up with MISS RSVP?
I have been very lucky and hard working in life and have had some great pleasure in attending all sorts of fabulous knees ups, sporting events, posh do’s and professional meetings.
Therefore, I have had to RSVP to many an event!
It is also very clever, (I think it was meant to be) that my Initials are RSP, and my boyfriend’s surname is V so a lil mix up and we have my blogger name! Yay!! Can you see how clever I am!! :)
Believe me, although Im sure many of you have seen it with your own eyes, Im afraid to say we have a mixture of styles out there, and crikey, some are simply awful!
So don't fret! If you have no idea what to wear to the cricket, O2, Winter Wedding, pool party in cannes or even your 6 year old daughters birthday party at Flamingo Land (is that still going?) then I will help you through this!!
Below is a selection of outfits Ive worn to different events...

Myself at a wedding in Bordeaux wearing a BCBG Max Azria Dress and Steve Madden heels
Me in Chinawhite, London wearing Jean Paul Gaultier skirt as a dress
Me on Holkham Beach, Norfolk wearing Zara Mac, Topshop trousers, Yellow Vintage Gloves, Primark Bag and Primark Pumps

Welcome to my World!

Myself at the end of a Rebecca Simone Fashion Show wearing a rebecca Simone Dress

I’ve been thinking for a while that I need to sort myself out and ‘get involved’ (a common motto of mine) with the whole world wide web antics! So I got on twitter, still not so sure how to do that, but im trying! :) I blatantly have Facebook, although I’ve fallen off the excitement ride of that one...note to oneself to must get involved again! Im a fan of Linkedin and now Im creeping into the world of bloggers! Mainly to get out there and show my face to the world, again, but also to calm me down from my Ebay addiction.....you will read more of this as we go on.
So what am I going to tell you thats a million miles away from all the other barmy bloggers who have graced every magazine, website and TV show!
Well.....firstly I will do the standard, showing pics of my everyday outfits, you can rate or slate me, I don't mind! I have pretty thick skin after attending an all girls High School and a degree in Fashion Design. Yep, both caused me years of heartache......thank god my Dads a shrink!
Ok Im over it, so as mentioned, I have a degree in Fashion design, so I will be showing hints, tips, secrets of the trade and amazing skills you can do at home!
PS these are wearable and fool proof ideas, no Blue Peter stylee or catwalk only styles!
You will also notice, I’m not a stick thin model :) therefore, YOU! Yes YOU! can check out my styles and be inspired! Im sure you are just like me and realise that most styles we see in Vogue (love the mag though and collect it) are just not meant for the average Josephine's.
Also, as you see in the title...Miss RSVP I will specialise in helping you choose an outfit for any special occasion! :) Yes, a wedding in this beautiful country of rain I hear you say? Aahhh I can recommend!!
In between all this I will share all sorts of daily knowledge to help you fancy free through life!
Lastly but by no means leastly....yes I know thats not a word but I like it.....Im not a lover of paying full price for many things! So I’m here to save you some pennies, whatever your budget, and kick start our country out of  a recession....whhoooo!! Jump jump for joy!!

Yes yes!! Miss RSVP will save the world!!!!  XX
